Community Organizations
ANC-OC has reorganized its structure to better serve the needs of the Armenian American
community in Orange County and to achieve our national goals by working with the Armenian
National Committee of America. ANC-OC is committed to working with all segments of the Armenian
American community in Orange County to continue advancing the Armenian Cause, "Hai Tad."
ANC-OC has created 4 divisions to reach its goals: Political Relations Division, Community
Relations Division, Youth Relations Division, Fundraising/Social Division
If you would like to join the ANC-OC and volunteer your time to serve the Armenian American
community in Orange County by working in any of our divisions please send us an email and
indicate your preference. A member of our executive board will welcome and contact you to discuss
your involvement.
YOUTH RELATIONS DIVISION
Establish contact and maintain relations with youth and student organizations, work closely with
AYF Hai Tad committee, encourage young Armenian Americans to get involved in ANC activities,
and create an atmosphere conducive to networking for young professionals.
FUNDRAISING/SOCIAL DIVISION
Plan and organize social events to create a fun and welcoming environment for all segments of the
community, and to establish fund raising mechanisms via the social gatherings to cover ANC-OC
operational costs and effectively achieve the goals of all 4 divisions
POLITICAL RELATIONS DIVISION
Establish contact and maintain relationships with elected officials, coordinate lobbying efforts with
ANCA and ANC-WR, mobilize community to support legislative initiatives for the local community
and national interests regarding issues of importance to Armenian Americans in the U.S.
